Since 1923, United Way of Santa Barbara County has been striving to make a difference in this community, and working hard to ensure that our contributions help our local friends and neighbors in need.

Nearly 80 different health and human services are made possible by Santa Barbara County’s United Way. Every year, one in three residents of Santa Barbara County turns to United Way for help. This means your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and maybe even you or your family are depending on our support. If you or I needed help tomorrow, United Way’s "Power of Partnership" Initiatives and

This year, UCSB will have its United Way Campaign from January 17 to February 29, 2008. I hope you will join me in learning about how we can impact people’s lives by attending a United Way presentation or talking with your Department Representative.
