On Monday, Nov. 16, Les Wilson, UCSB professor of biochemistry, will discuss basic research and cancer drug development. On Monday, Dec. 7, UCSB research biologist Mary-Ann Jordan's topic will be basic science and its potential for treating or curing cancer.
Science Lite is a program for non-scientists interested in gaining a fundamental understanding of science and technology, as well as for those who have not had the opportunity to keep up with the myriad of advances in science.
