Registering for Commencement 2013
- Commencement PASS 1
February 25, 2013 - April 15, 2013
Seniors with at least 164 units completed or in progress during the winter 2013 quarter are eligible to make a reservation
for a spring 2013 Commencement ceremony using GOLD. During PASS I, seniors can make a reservation only for the ceremony
to which their major is assigned for this pass.
- Commencement PASS 2
April 22, 2013 - May 24, 2013
Seniors with at least 164 units completed or in progress during the spring 2013 quarter are eligible to make a reservation
for a spring 2013 Commencement ceremony using GOLD. (During PASS 2, eligible undergraduate students can reserve any open
and available ceremony, regardless of major.)
- Declaring Candidacy
Declaring candidacy to receive an official degree and making a commencement reservation require two separate actions on
GOLD.
Commencement Reservations for Graduate Students
Doctoral and master's students must register by Friday, May 3, 2013. For more information about Graduate Division Commencement please refer to http://graddiv.ucsb.edu/commencement.
