Open Enrollment, the period during which staff and faculty members have an opportunity to review their health coverage and make choices regarding their 2011 benefits, begins on October 25 and continues through November 23. Open enrollment packets will be sent to staff and faculty homes later this month.

Among the changes UC is making for 2011 are the addition of two new lower-cost medical plans, expanding eligibility for health plans to children up to age 26, and opening the legal plan for new enrollments.

By mid-October, Open Enrollment information will be available online at http://atyourservice.ucop.edu, and local events and workshops will be posted on http://hr.ucsb.edu/benefits.
