Open Enrollment, the period during which staff and faculty members have an opportunity to review their health coverage and make choices regarding their 2010 benefits, continues through 5 p.m. on
November 24.

Open enrollment packets were sent to staff and faculty homes during the last week of October.

The Benefits Office will offer a series of noontime medical plan comparison workshops, during which they will present side-by-side comparisons of UC medical plans and give a brief overview of changes for the coming year. The first workshop is on Friday, November 6, in Room 3101DD Student Affairs/Administrative Services Building. Others will be held on Tuesday, November 10, in 1302 Marine Science Research Building; and on Wednesday, November 18 in 1001 Engineering Science Building.

Other workshops include a Flexible Spending Account session at noon on Tuesday, November 17, in 3101DD Student Affairs/Administrative Services Building; and an overview of the health and welfare plan changes for the Postdoctoral Scholars Benefit Program on Thursday, November 5, at 1:30 p.m., also in 3101DD Student Affairs/Administrative Services Building.
