In response to the continuing budget crisis, Chancellor Henry T. Yang will lead a Town Hall Forum on Friday, December 4, to address issues affecting faculty and staff members. It will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Campbell Hall.

Yang, along with other campus administrators and Academic Senate leaders, will discuss the evolving budget situation and hear suggestions and concerns presented by the campus community.

The Town Hall Forum is part of a series. A session held on November 30 was designed to answer students’ questions about how budget cuts will affect future admissions, financial aid, enrollment, and other issues. Another forum will be held in January, on a date yet to be determined, that will address the entire campus community.

“These unprecedented budget shortfalls are affecting all of us,” Yang said in a message to the campus, “and it is important for us to keep coming together as a community to listen to each other, support each other, and to find ways to work together on behalf of our university.”
