Summer Program Seeks Mentors

Summer Session’s Research Mentorship Program (RMP) is seeking research mentors for its 2009 session. The RMP brings top-level sophomores, juniors, and seniors from high schools around the country to UCSB where they participate in research conducted by faculty members, graduate students, or postdoctoral students. Mentors from all disciplines are needed, including the physical and biological sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities and fine arts. The six-week program begins on June 22 and continues through July 31. Mentors receive an $800 stipend for each student they accept. For more information, contact Miriam Polne-Fuller at ext. 8950 or rmp@summersessionsucsb.edu.
