Chancellor Henry T. Yang has announced the appointment of the new Campus Sustainability Committee.

The committee, to be co-chaired by Bruce Tiffney, dean of the College of Creative Studies, and Ron Cortez, associate vice chancellor for Administrative Services, will advise Yang and campus administrators on matters of campus sustainability.

Using the Campus Sustainability Plan as a guide, the committee will also make recommendations on sustainability initiatives, prioritize and monitor the execution and progress of the sustainability plan, make recommendations on allocations of available funding, and provide guidance in the creation and fostering of alliances.
