CAMPUS NOTES
No Place for Hate Last month, the MultiCultural Center and the Office of Judicial Affairs were recognized by the Santa Barbara branch of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for their efforts to combat bigotry and hate. Similarly honored were the Anacapa, Francisco Torres, and San Nicolas residence halls. The ADL awards “No Place for Hate” certificates to groups that complete at least three activities in support of its goal of promoting respect while “taking a stand against bigotry, prejudice, and hate of any kind.” This was the first such award to judicial affairs and the second time ADL has honored the MCC.
