United Way Gains Over Last Year

UCSB’s United Way Campus Campaign leaders celebrated punching through the $100,000 barrier for the second year in a row: By March 28 the total stood at $110,000. “In a difficult year, the campus did much better than expected,” said co-chair Larry Parsons, director of Environmental Health and Safety (far right). “We thank all the departments that participated.” This sentiment was echoed by, from left, Chancellor Henry Yang; Sandy Morris, campaign co-chair, College of Engineering; and John Wiemann, vice chancellor, institutional advancement.
