The Transportation Alternatives Board (TAB) and the Parking Ratepayers Board (PRB) had their first meetings this month for the fall quarter and elected new chair people.

TAB elected Trish Holden, an associate professor at the Bren School, and Bren graduate student Mark Frickel to co-chair its meetings.

PRB elected Kostas Goulias, professor of geography, as its chair. A replacement is being sought for Sharon Conley, professor of education, who resigned with one year left on her term of service.

Both boards agreed to have meeting schedules and past minutes eventually posted on the Web. However, Transportation and Parking Services lost its director and nine other staff members over these past few months, so most staff are already occupied.
