No fewer than 25 UCSB women authors and/or editors were hailed by the Women’s Center on May 11, and 13 were present for the picture. They were, from left Hilary Bernstein, history; Adrienne Edgar, history; Susan McLeod, writing; Laury Oaks, women’s studies; Barbara Voorhies, anthropology; Britt Andreatta, Office of Student Life; Cynthia Skenazi, French & Italian; Barbara Herr Harthorn, ISBER; Janet Walker, film studies; Lisa Parks, film studies; Rose McDermott, political science; Lisa Hajjar, law & society; and Carol Pasternack, English. Chancellor Henry Yang and Executive Vice Chancellor Gene Lucas honored all the authors.
