All 326 University of California students on the Education Abroad Program in Britain are safe, reports Bruce Hanna, communications director for systemwide EAP. They were accounted for within a day of the terrorist bombings of the London transportation system on July 7.

Newspaper reports on July 8 indicated that while all students in the Cambridge program had been contacted some in the larger Sussex program had not yet been accounted for. There are 49 EAP students from UCSB on the two campuses.
