Special, 90-minute workshops are planned for staff employees who seek managerial or supervisory positions. The Staff Assembly, in cooperation with Human Resources and the Chancellor’s Staff Advisory Council, will present a series of professional development seminars, called “How to Take Control of Your Career,” this month and in February
Workshops will cover effective online application; interviewing dos and don’ts; skill set development; mentoring; and reclassification, according to a Staff Assembly announcement. For more information, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
All workshops will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting Jan. 25 and 26, in the UCen’s Harbor Room. Times will vary to allow for morning or afternoon attendance. This is a partial breakdown:
