The Associated Students have a beef, but this time it is in the form of a tri-tip sandwich sale as a fund-raiser for the campus United Way campaign.

Set for Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Multi-Cultural Center, the benefit will run between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and offers a complete meal. “Five dollars gets you a delicious sandwich, soda, and chips,” reports Andrew Doerr, A.S. publications coordinator.

While Friday was the last day for candygram orders, pledges can be made through department representatives or online (<www.ia.ucsb.edu/uw>) until Feb. 22.
