CAMPUS NOTES
Green Fund
The Green
Initiative Fund (TGIF), a student fee-generated grant program,
is currently accepting funding applications for projects that help
to reduce the campus’s impact on the environment. Any UCSB staff,
faculty, or student is eligible to apply. Ideal projects include
those that can measurably reduce campus energy, water, waste, etc.,
while also educating the campus community. They need not be campuswide
projects; departmental or building initiatives are also eligible.
Applications are available now and due by January 26, 2009. More
information can be found at < http://sustainability.ucsb.edu/tgif>.
