UCSB Staff Assembly is soliciting nominations for the 2007-08 Staff Recognition Awards Program, perhaps better known as the annual Citation of Excellence awards. The deadline for these nominations is Feb. 15 at 4 p.m.

“The purpose of the program is to acknowledge and celebrate outstanding achievements and meritorious service of career staff,” said Kim Summerfield, co-chair of the campus Staff Assembly unit. Each of the 10 staffers selected will receive a plaque and $500.

Nominees must be career or contract staff not on probation and not in senior management groups. Each nomination requires a letter of endorsement from someone other than the principal nominator. For more details, go to <www.staffassembly.ucsb.edu>.
