| UCSB students chat after visiting C-SPAN’s "Campaign 2008" bus, which parked in front of Santa
Rosa Residence Hall for a couple of hours last week. The 45-foot-long bus, one of two in the nation,
has a nonpartisan, get-out-the-vote theme as well as educating its visitors on the presidential
campaign. It is sponsored by the cable television industry, as are the several C-SPAN networks, and
serves as a video production vehicle and mobile TV studio as well as multimedia classroom.
