Voter Sign-Ups to End Oct. 22

A voter registration drive sponsored by the UCSB Voter Registration Volunteer Coalition and the Associated Students will end on Oct. 22. Billed as a “register once, vote twice” exercise, registration enables the registrant to vote in both the Feb. 5, 2008, California presidential primary and the local supervisorial election on June 3.
It is necessary to re-register if you have moved, changed your name or wish to change your political affiliation. There are two official UCSB Voter Registration sites on campus, one in front of the University Center and the other in the Arbor corridor.
For more voter information, access the UCSB Voter Registration Web site at <www.sa.ucsb.edu/voterreg>. Additionally, voter registration forms are available at various campus locations, including the Post Office and Student Resource Building Information Center.
