More than 8,000 people attended UCSB’s Spring Insight open house on April 14, according to Katya Armistead, assistant director of the Visitor Center, who helped organize the event. Staff members and student volunteers, who wore Spring Insight T-shirts, directed visitors to desired locations. Many took orientation tours, such as this one led by a trained student volunteer.
