The question of allowing alternates for members of the UCSB Faculty Legislature will top the agenda when the Academic Senate meets on Nov. 3 at 3:30 p.m. in HSSB 6020. A tabled motion to consider recommending a ban on military recruiters will probably stay on the table because the sponsors wish to await a pending U.S. Supreme Court ruling that could influence actions at UCSB.
