Today, June 15, ends a scheduled three-day strike against the University of California system called by statewide officials of the clerical workers’ union, the Coalition of University Employees (CUE). At UCSB, the CUE local decided against striking and instead to stage noontime rallies and wear black. UC officials called the announced strike “unlawful.”
