Web Chats on UC’s Future Continue
In the coming months, the UC Long-Range Guidance Team will hold a series of Web chats with faculty, staff, alumni, students, and others on the University’s future. The next chat will be with alumni and is set for Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 5 p.m. The first chat was with faculty and took place on Nov. 2. A transcript can be downloaded at < www.universityofcalifornia.edu/news/uc2025>. (Note Web chats link in upper right corner and in left side menu.) This is also where to find location information on the next Web chat. The purpose of the chats is to provide updates on the team’s progress, but also to seek comments from critical UC stakeholders about the issues they see facing the university in the year 2025, according to UC spokespeople. Other dates for chats with staff are Jan. 11, at 4 p.m., and for students, Feb. 22, at 4 p.m. These sessions will feature co-chairs Acting Provost Rory Hume and Senior Vice President Bruce Darling, as well as other team members. |
