Sedgwick Book Benefits
Ranching Center
A personalized look at 20th-century ranching in parts of Santa Barbara County is captured in “Cattle Upon a Thousand Hills,” with pictures coming from the albums of some of the region’s principal ranching families. The soft-cover book is also a fund-raiser for UCSB’s Sedgwick Ranch Natural Reserve’s Ranching Heritage Center, which will be housed in a wood barn that requires restoration. For details on the reserve, or to purchase a copy of the $30 book, go to <http://nrs.ucop.edu/reserves/Sedgwick/moreinfo.html>.
