Faculty members are encouraged to nominate the 2005 Faculty Research Lecturer by Dec. 15 of this year. Application packets for nominees from the Academic Senate, with supporting materials, must be submitted by this date to the Academic Senate Office at 1233 Girvetz Hall.

The Academic Senate selection committee asks that nominees be “engaged in significant scholarship,” though the committee will give “equal consideration to creative activity and traditional research.” Eligibility is spelled out at <www.senate.ucsb.edu>.
