The film follows the journey of two Afghan boys as they make a multistage trip from Pakistan to London. Using nonprofessional actors and hand-held digital cameras, director Michael Winterbottom captures the hazardous trek that has been made by thousands of refugees.

This revealing documentary focuses on Los Angeles' hard-living poet Charles Bukowski, subject of the fictional film "Barfly" and author of seminal works such as "Love Is a Dog from Hell."
