Jan Ricketts, computer technician for Transportation and Parking Services, punches in a PIN code to demonstrate a security system on a special Prius hybrid. One of three used Toyota Priuses recently purchased for the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP), these gasoline and electric vehicles are planned for use early next quarter by TAP members who need mid-day transportation off campus for things such as medical appointments. The Carshare Program is one of several new or improved features TAP will introduce in 2005.
