Four new vista points, with benches, retaining walls, and plants, and paths of decomposed granite have been created along the eastern section of the campus bluffs by a Facilities Management team and Ironwood Landscapes of Santa Barbara. The path now runs from Lot 6 to Biosciences II, but plans are under way to extend the landscaping to UCSB's East Entrance, reports Celeste Manolas, FM project manager. In the meantime, student employees, such as sophomore Deanna Mircheva, have found rest among the improvements.
