    Campus Radio Raises Funds
KCSB-FM (91.9), the only nonprofit community radio station in Santa Barbara, is celebrating 40 years of service with an on-air pledge drive that ends Friday, Nov. 9. The first radio station on any University of California campus, KCSB is run primarily by student and community volunteers. Faced with the need to replace its broadcast tower and a looming FCC requirement to convert to a digital signal, KCSB staffers hope this year's drive will exceed last year's $21,000.
    Annual Turkey Drive Gears Up
Nov. 13 is the last day the Community Affairs Board will accept donations for the Associated Students' annual Turkey Drive. They are looking for canned goods--yams, cranberry sauce, packaged gravy, boxes of instant mashed potatoes--or cash for food vouchers that can go into gift baskets, which will be distributed to needy families. Donations may be dropped off at the CAB office, UCen 2523, in the A.S. office building.
