    The late Ninian Smart, a pioneer in religious studies and UCSB faculty member for more than 20 years, will be honored on Thursday, March 8, at 3 p.m. in Corwin Pavilion with a memorial service. Hosted by the Department of Religious Studies, the service is being organized by professor and chair Wade Clark Roof and professor Richard Hecht.
